After I wrote my post about French wine on here I checked my email. I recently submitted an article to an online magazine who I write for every so often. I still hadn't heard back from them, so I checked their home page. Turns out they'd gone on and published it without letting me know. That's ok...I guess, although it would have been polite to let me know. They illustrated my article with a rather phycadellic see-through head, nice!
What I was more upset about though was they got my name wrong! No they didn't just make a spelling mistake, they published it as by someone totally different - someone who's work I mention in my article. So I emailed them to let them know and I got back a sorry note saying that it had all been changed...which it has. Unfortunatly Google hasn't updated it, so if you do a websearch then it still says it's by this other guy, which is concerning since he's quite famous and it likely to get googled quite a lot, and also means I won't get the hit if you search for me.
Oh Well! I hope they give me a nice headline spot in their newsletter 
And by the way...I write a lot more formally usually. I mean on here I'm chatting to my mates, know what I mean? There's no need to comb through my punctuation, delete bits where I'm being repetative and all of that. If I had to do that on here, I wouldn't find it quite so fun :-D I like being able to rant and rave without having to worry about reading through it again (thus working myself up all over again and realising my arguments are very very weak) and making lots of editions!
